First Latin-Owned Mobile Manufacturer Makes Debut at CTIA Wireless 2011

BLU Products, the first Latin-owned mobile manufacturer and the fastest-growing in the region, announced its presence at CTIA Wireless 2011, the country's premier wireless event. Samuel Ohev-Zion. President and CEO, CT Miami
As president and CEO of CT Miami, Samuel is responsible for the overall strategic and creative direction of the company, overseeing the product design and manufacturing process and overall growth. Under his direction, CT Miami has become the largest open market GSM distributor in the Americas.

Samuel oversees strategic direction and manages the company’s relationships with its partners and leading manufacturers throughout North, Central and South America. He has more than 16 years of experience in the mobile phone industry and a proven track record in driving companies to achieve substantial growth in the Americas.

Before this, he led Telecel Latin America Inc., a distributor of mobile phones, where he was responsible for the company’s corporate development, sales and service. Telecel was featured various times in Entrepreneur magazine as one of the top 20 fastest growing companies. In 2006, he led its merger with Cellular & Wireless Wholesale Corporation (CWW), partnering to create CT Miami. In 2009, he helped launch BLU Products, the fastest-growing mobile device manufacturer in Latin America. A native of Brazil, Samuel resides in Miami and speaks Portuguese, Spanish, English and Hebrew.
